Information To Parents
In order to secure all that is best in the education of your child, there should be maximum co-operation between parents and school authorities. We earnestly recommend that parents / guardians look into the child’s diary every day and see that home work and lessons assigned for the next day are done. The diary should be seen and counter signed. Parents should meet the teachers, to find out how their wards are getting along.
If you feel the child does not make the desired progress, please contact the Principal. Parents, guardians and visitors are requested not to go to the classroom or speak to the teachers during class hours. In case of necessity this may be allowed with the permission of the principal.
Criticism of the child’s teacher or the school in his / her presence should be avoided altogether, because it causes the child to lose respect for the teacher or the school. If you have a legitimate complaint the principal should be contacted.
As your child grows in age, guide his/her to become a resourceful and useful member of the home and the country. Encourage self-help for work and study.
Courtesy, good manners, good behaviour are all to be maintained by the joint effort of parents and teachers in harmony. A spirit of loyalty and gratitude should be cultivated from home, a spirit of generous involvement and dedication to the ideals of the school should be characteristic of parent and pupil.
A child who is ill, should not be sent to school, or appear for the examinations. The chances are that it will infect other children and do more harm than good. Promotions will be decided on the terms work on previous records.
Your child should be encouraged to attend school regularly except in case of illness, or for reasonable causes. Whenever absence is foreseen like for marriages etc., leave letters should be given in advance.
If there is an infectious disease in your home, please report the fact to the principal and don’t send the child to school till the danger of infection has passed.
Parents should not take their children home during the middle of morning or afternoon session. The child will be allowed to go home only during the lunch interval or after school is over at 3.30 p.m.
The Progress report is to be kept in the custody of the school.
Parents / Guardians should ensure that school fees are paid on time.
Children who come by van should be ready and should not keep the van waiting.
